Workington Reds battled out a goalless draw whilst Bolton Wanderers were 2-1 winners
over Penwortham Town, thanks to Madison Hardman and Molly Kay.
Sinead Nugent was on target, along with an own goal, as Division One South leaders Bury
AFC Women won 2-1 against third placed Poulton Vics to keep themselves one point ahead
of Runcorn Linnets, who were also 2-1 victors away to Hindley Juniors Women courtesy
of Mollie Bennett and Marcia Jones-Sacharewicz. Warrington Wolves Foundation defeated
Alder FC Women 4-1 to move into fourth place whilst BRNESC Ladies are level on points
with Northwich Vixens after winning their meeting 3-0. Altrincham are out of the bottom
two following their 3-0 success at Wythenshawe Amateurs.
South West League
Forest Green Rovers kept hold of the leadership of the Premier Division with a 2-0 win away
to Poole Town. Estelle Randall and Nynka Rucker scored the goals for Forest Green who stay
two points ahead of Bristol Rovers who were 3-2 winners over Liskeard Athletic. Libby Bell,
Laura Curnock and Zoe Fielden-Stewart were all on target for Rovers, with Chloe Williams and
Jasmine Allen replying. Torquay Utd meanwhile kept themselves well in the hunt as they
scored seven times without reply past Ilminster Town, with a goal each from Ellie Bishop,
Tracey Cross, Rebecca McMullin, Sasha Mole, Connie Pengelly, Daisy Self and Danni Wyatt.
Millie Spratt meanwhile scored the only goal of the game as Warminster Town won 1-0 away
to Wootton Bassett Town.
Only one game managed to survive the weather in the Eastern Division but it saw Weston-
super-Mare continue their recent revival. Ellie Burrows and Natasha Crew scored the goals as
Weston defeated Weymouth 2-0 to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
Likewise in the Eastern Division, just the solitary match managed to go ahead and a six-goal
haul from Tori Marks spearheaded Sticker Women's victory away to Activate. Gracie Davies
(2), Morwenna Albury, Lauren Bennett, Kaitlyn Butterly-Reakes, Chloe Harris and Chloe Uren
added the others, however this game has now been voided as Activate have pulled out of the
league.
Southern Region League
Abingdon Utd have opened up a seven point lead at the top of the Premier Division after
winning their local derby 2-0 against Abingdon Town thanks to Beth Hawtin and Molly
Lygo-Jackson. Oxford City meanwhile got back to winning ways with a 4-0 success against
Winchester City Flyers, which has taken them into mid-table.
Woodley Utd stepped up their challenge in Division One North with a nine-goal blast
against Carterton, which takes them to within two points of leaders Milton Utd and with a
game in hand. Mollie Haines bagged a four-goal haul for Woodley and she was joined on target
by May Hamblin, Sarah Lawrence, Charley Evans, Ellen Surtees and Holly Wilkins. Long
Crendon meanwhile drew for the fifth time in eight matches as Amber Cattell, Emma Leith and
Michell Bailey helped them finish level at 3-3 with Eversley & California, who replied through
Joanne Harfield, Molly Tzanetis and Rebekah Pantony.
In the only match to be played in Division One South, AFC Stoneham moved up into third
place when a second half goal from Sophie Lee earned them a 1-0 victory over Woking Ladies.
West Midlands League
Courtney Dilger and Saddiqa Shan each scored twice as Lichfield City ran out 4-0 winners over
Redditch Utd in the only Premier Division match to be played, a result which sees Lichfield
move closer to mid-table.
County Cup duties and the weather meant that the fixture programme was restricted over
the weekend with all of the other action taking place in Division One South. Coventry Sphinx
narrowed the gap on leaders Knowle to nine points by winning 7-0 away to Rugby Town,
Jodie McGuckin was on target twice along with Kirsty Farnsworth, Anaya O'Brien, Lauren Swift,
Amanda Whalley and Milly Miller. Third placed Worcester City Development were beaten
2-1 by Bewdley Town, whose scorers were Kirsty Roberts and Lauren Lorriman-Parker, whilst
Beth Male netted for Sedgley & Gornal Utd as they shared a 1-1 draw with Droitwich Spa.
