            In the League Trophy quarter finals, the top two in Division One South met each
       other and the game lived up to its billing as AFC Acorns edged past Ashford Ladies with
       a 4-3 victory after extra time. Samantha Rowland scored twice for the Nuts along with Hazel
       Barnett  and  Lauren  Tyler,  whilst  Ashford's  replies  came  from  Katie  Hardaker  (2)  and
       Rebecca Janes. Lucy Knight and an own goal gave Bexhill Utd a 2-1 win against Sport
       London e Benfica and Herne Bay were 9-2 victors away to Walton Casuals. Gemma
       Shepherd was on target four times for Bay, Elena Brock and Erin MacLennan each netted
       twice and Rosie Hague added the other. Lucy Collinson scored along with Katie Franks as
       Newhaven won their First Round  tie 2-1 against Watford Development and they now
       take on Brentford to decide the last semi final place.
       North East League
       York City power on at the top of the Premier Division with a 4-1 victory over Farsley
       Celtic. Holly Findlay scored twice for York along with Rebecca Fevers and Sophie Tinson to
       leave them eight points clear at the top from Harrogate Town, who were 3-2 winners at
       Wallsend Boys Club thanks to Rachel McDonald, Teagan Sorokan and Nat Eustance.
       Wakefield Trinity edged out Hartlepool Utd by the odd goal in seven, a result which
       takes them up into the top half. Neve Renwick hit a hat-trick for Wakefield and Chelsea
       Pilmer added the other, with Leonie Hutchinson (2) and Ellie Gutcher replying.
            The top two in the Northern Division did not play and third placed Chester-le-
       Street  Utd  were  held  to  a  1-1  draw  by  Norton  &  Stockton  Ancients  Res.  Sarah
       Hutchieson had given United the lead with fifteen minutes remaining but they were pegged
       back by an injury time equaliser from Ellie Hamilton. Bishop Auckland have gone up to
       fourth after winning 3-1 at Washington Association, thanks to a Brogan McHugh brace
       and Katie Raine. Abbie Bolam, Chloe Roylance, Samantha Deverdics, Michaela Sewell and
       Sarah McKillen were the markswomen for Wallsend BC Res as they ran out 5-0 winners
       over Prudhoe Town.
            One match was played in the Southern Division, which resulted in a crushing 10-1
       victory for Barnsley FC Ladies over Bradford Park Avenue. Sadie Hooper scored a
       hat-trick, Lynn Goodman weighed in with a brace and there was one each from Brooke
       Betts, Lauren Collumbine, Amy Lassu, Annabelle Medley and Ellie Newsam.
       North West League
       Merseyrail  Ladies  moved  closer  towards  the  Premier  Division  title  as  they  won  3-0
       against Salford City Lionesses. Third placed Crewe Alexandra are the team with the
       best mathematical chance of catching Merseyrail, keeping their hopes alive by beating AFC
       Darwen 6-1. Cheadle Town Stingers meanwhile defeated Wigan Athletic 5-3, a result
       which takes them up to sixth.
            Blackburn Community SC continue to look strong at the top of Division One
       North, preserving their six point lead by winning 2-0 away to Haslingden who suffered a
       big blow to their hopes. Blackpool kept up the chase in second place, thanks to a 6-0
       victory over Sir Tom Finney, Cloe Warbrick scoring twice along with Eleanor Cardwell,
       Minnie Rogers, Molly Kelly and Lily Hambly. Preston North End maintained their fine
       run of form with a 3-2 win against Morecambe Res, which lifts them up to third place.
            Division One South table toppers Curzon Ashton did not play and their lead has
       been trimmed to six points by Chester FC Women, who moved into second with a 4-0
       victory over Hindley Juniors Women. Warrington Wolves Foundation had started
       the  day  in  second  place  but  were  beaten  4-3  by  Alder  FC  Women.  Wythenshawe
       Amateurs continue to edge their way up the table and are in mid-table following their 1-1
       draw against Didsbury Ladies.
