half goals for Sutton Utd in their 3-0 win against Millwall Lionesses who hold on to third
place after Fulham FC Women and Saltdean Utd battled out a goalless draw. Shauni
Griffiths and Paris Smith accounted for the goals for Dartford in their 2-1 victory away to
Dulwich Hamlet.
With the teams around them in the table all involved in cup finals, Denham Utd took the
opportunity to move into second place in Division One North with a 2-1 victory away to Dulwich
Hamlet Res. Jenny Nagle and Joanne Torr netted the goals as Denham extended their
unbeaten league run to nine matches, with Beth Smith replying. Whyteleafe and Hackney
have also been in good form in recent weeks and their meeting ended in a 1-1 draw, Abigail
Woollvin on target for 'Leafe and Hackney netting through Amy Nicholson. Renata Ferreira
scored the only goal of the game for Sport London e Benfica in their 1-0 success against
Richmond Park and Watford Development ran out 5-0 winners over Leatherhead,
courtesy of a goal apiece from Sophia Amanor, Aliyah Anderson, Charmain Dakin, Rebecca
Lovelace and Erin Shacklock.
Welling Utd are on course for a top three place in Division One South following their 4-0
win against Cray Valley (PM). Grace Laverick was on target twice along with Emily Symonds
and Sarah White. Montpelier Villa meanwhile defeated Maidstone Utd 4-1, Tara Barratt (2),
Saskia Taylor-Doyle and Nicole White all netting a goal apiece with Megan Jenner replying.
North East League
Second placed Wakefield Ladies completed their campaign with an 8-0 victory over Blyth
Town but they will have to wait and see whether they have done enough for the runners-up spot.
Neve Renwick hit a hat-trick along with a Rebecca Hunt brace, Charlotte Blythe, Demi Godson
and Rachael White. Michelle Stewart netted twice and Chloe Young the other as Alnwick Town
defeated Sunderland West End 3-0 and they need one more win to secure second but South
Shields' hopes took a knock as they were beaten 4-1 by Redcar Town, for whom Mary Corbyn
bagged a hat-trick along with Jessica Round. Eleanor Regan, Ellie Mark, Nicole Dack and
Michaela Sewell were all on the scoresheet as Wallsend Boys Club defeated Harrogate
Town 4-0.
Spennymoor Town have gone four points clear at the top of the Northern Division after
Lily-Mae Jackson (2), Autumn Colledge, Hannah Knox and Kira Whittle all scored in their 5-0
victory over Hartlepool Pools Youth. Hartlepool Utd meanwhile enhanced their chances of
a top three place by scoring nine times without reply past Thornaby Ladies, Robyn Foster
bagging a hat-trick along with Lauren Gray (2), Atalia Robinson (2), Cheyanna Burnett-Griffith
and Zara Johnson. Gateshead FC Ladies leapt up the table into fourth place following their
9-2 success away to Bishop Auckland.
Barnsley FC Ladies made sure of securing the Southern Division title with a 2-1 victory
against second placed Millmoor Juniors Ladies. Lynn Goodman and Nicole Shaw scored the
all important goals for Barnsley, with Abby Watkinson replying. Altofts Ladies still have
matters in their hands for the runners-up spot after beating Ripon City 5-1, with goals from
Naomi Malcolm, Natalie Riley, Nicola Smith, Nadine Bates and Emily Sharp. Ossett Utd's
chances of finishing second received a setback as they were beaten 4-3 by Farsley Celtic
Juniors. Things had looked good for Ossett as Charlotte Adams, Emily Burton and Jamie-Lea
Sharp had given them a three-goal lead at half time but a Shauna Hill brace, Ffion Jones and
Sarah Lawn turned the match around in Farley's favour after the break. York RI meanwhile
leapfrogged Sheffield Utd Community Foundation in the table after winning their meeting
3-2, Jessica Baker, Lucy Grehan-Bradley and Lily Stancliffe netting York's goals with Shannon
Coughlan bagging a brace in reply.
North West League
FC United of Manchester landed the title in style as they defeated Fleetwood Town Wrens
5-1 to take themselves over the line, the teams having shared a goalless draw seven days earlier.
Cheadle Town Stingers still remain in the running for runners-up although they were held to
