Gosport Borough moved to joint top of the Pitching In Southern League Premier
       Division South table on Saturday.
Boro won 2-0 at fourth-from-bottom Dorchester Town’s Avenue Stadium. In
awful conditions, Bradley Tarbuck put the visitors ahead after 22 minutes and Dan
Wooden sealed it with a second five minutes before half-time.
Farnborough moved into third spot after also recording a 2-0 win at home against
Truro City. The experienced Paul Hodges proved to be the Boro hero on the day,
netting a quickfire double in the 25th and 29th minutes.
Taunton Town moved into the top five for the first time this season after a 2-1
win at Hartley Wintney. Gethyn Hill broke the deadlock to put the visitors in front
on the hour-mark. But recent signing Leo Hamblin looked to have earned The Row
a point when he equalised in the 87th minute. However, a free-kick two minutes
into time added on at the end of the game was headed home by Nick Grimes to
       win it for the Peacocks.
Poole Town are sixth after winning 2-0 at the Black Gold Stadium against
Beaconsfield Town. Tony Lee gave the Dolphins a crucial lead a minute before
half-time. And Lee’s second after 68 minutes sealed a fairly comfortable win for
       Tom Killick`s men.
Tiverton Town sealed a 4-1 win against Kings Langley at the Ian Moorcroft
       Stadium.
Kyle Egan in the 5th minute scored the only goal of the opening half. Four minutes
into the second period, Austen Booth doubled Tivvy’s lead, only for Kings to be
awarded a penalty in the 55th minute which Roddy Collins duly converted. But on
73 minutes, Gary Warren headed the home side 3-1 in front and a minute from
time, Theo Simpson added a fourth.
Swindon Supermarine and Hendon shared a 1-1 draw at the Webbswood
Stadium in the day’s only other game. Liam Brooks gave the Greens a 34th-minute
lead they held, despite a good deal of ‘Marine pressure, until the 89th minute when
Brad Hooper’s long-range drive pulled the home side level.
