Message from the League.
Welcome everyone to the Gordon Perrett Memorial Cup Final which
we are pleased to be holding at The Corinium Stadium in Cirencester
            this year.

It is a pleasure to welcome Gordon’s family who join us once again
for the final along with Alexis Lunn-Gadd who has been an important
part of developing the League through her previous role as GFA
Women’s and Girl’s football development officer before moving to
her current role at the FA. We hope that they are treated to a
            fantastic game of football.
Much like last year the final sees a team from Division 1 against a
team from Division 2 which highlights that the strength of teams
throughout the divisions is greater than it has ever been. Both clubs
have been members of the league at various points throughout their
history and both have League Cup Final experience.

Whilst writing this the weather forecast for Sunday doesn’t look the
best but that would be a perfect summary for the season we have
had. This has resulted in the season still running with division
winners across all 3 divisions still to be decided from the remaining
fixtures. There could be some great fixtures still to come to decide
the final placings so do get down to games to support your local
            team.
We would like to wish both teams good luck in today’s final and I
wish everybody an enjoyable afternoon with an exciting game of
football. Thank you all for your support.

            Yours in sport
