enough to take Brighouse Town up a place, they registered their fifth draw of the season whilst
Loughborough Lightning doubled their tally for the season to date.
Southern Premier Division
Bridgwater Utd made the long journey to Gillingham a worthwhile one as they picked up a 2-0
victory, which takes them out of the bottom three and into mid-table. The game was goalless at the
interval but it was Bridgwater who opened the scoring through Fiona Barry, midway through the
second half, and Ellie Sara added the second two minutes later.
Division One North
Barnsley moved up into second place with a 3-0 win away to York City in the solitary match in the
division over the weekend. Brooke Marsden was on target twice, with Emily Pierrepont adding the
other for Barnsley who climb above Newcastle Utd on goal difference and a single point behind
leaders Durham Cestria.
Division One Midlands
Doncaster Rovers Belles are back in second place, albeit nine points behind leaders
Stourbridge, after they defeated Leek Town 4-0. Jessica Andrew, Leah Hardy, Otandeka Laki and
Sophie Brown all scored a goal apiece for the Belles.
Lincoln City have entered the top three for the first time this season following their 2-1
victory over Wem Town. Jessica Rousseau and Chantelle Robinson scored the goals which gave
Lincoln a fourth win in a row, with Kim Bebbington netting Wem's consolation.
Sporting Khalsa had started the day in second but lost a little ground as they were beaten
3-1 by Leafield Athletic, who move to within a point of them. Megan Cann had given Khalsa a first
half lead but goals either side of half time by Kathryn Pagan and Leonie Joyce turned the match
around for Leafield and Talitta Chase sealed the points late on from the penalty spot.
Division One South East
Kelly Wealthall bagged herself a five-goal haul as Hashtag Utd went six points clear at the top of
the table with a thirteen goal blast away to Hounslow Women. Samantha Rowland and Grace
Gillard also hit hat-tricks for the Tags and they were joined on the scoresheet by Sasha Adamson and
Malika Apindia Gille.
AFC Wimbledon have gone level on points with second placed Norwich City following
their 4-1 victory away to Chesham Utd. Ashlee Hincks netted a hat-trick for the Dons and Becki
Bath added the other, whilst Chesham's consolation was scored by Keunna Dill.
Actonians Ladies made it four victories on the trot when beating Cambridge City 5-1 and
this takes up to fourth place, their highest of the season to date. Sarah Coomson, Shauna Munnelly,
Roschelle Shakes, Natsumi Kanno and Jasmine Williamson all scored a goal apiece for Actonians,
with Ellen Marson replying.
Division One South West
Cardiff City Ladies are pulling further clear at the top of the table, extending their advantage to
eight points by winning 4-1 away to Selsey Women. Ingrid Aadland netted twice for the runaway
leaders along with Cori Williams and Thierry-Jo Gauvain, whilst the Seals' reply came from Laura da
Silva.
Keynsham Town meanwhile picked up an important 2-1 victory at Maidenhead Utd,
which puts a gap of six points between the teams. Gemma McGuinness scored both goals for
Keynsham during the first half, with Natalie Cowell responding for the home side after the hour
mark.
Reserve Section round-up...
Stoke City went through to the quarter finals of the Reserves League Cup after early goals from Lily
Jackson and Casey Beamon gave them a 2-0 victory away to Leeds Utd. West Bromwich Albion
meanwhile netted eleven times against Barnsley, Olivia Stubbs bagging a four-goal haul and Maia
Clark hit a hat-trick, with Amelia Lightfoot (2), Olivia Owen and Annabel Sime rounding off the
scoring. Wolverhampton Wanderers improved on this total when beating Long Eaton Utd,
Amy Hare was on target six times whilst Daisy Wickett grabbed a hat-trick, and they were joined on
the scoresheet by Beth Grady (2), Olivia Bellamy, Anna Bebb, Phoebe Hill and Millie Webb. Erin
Hartigan was another hat-trick scorer, for Oxford Utd against Plymouth Argyle. Poppy Dearlove
contributed a brace and there was one apiece from Billie Bough-French, Libby Gilmore, Oana-Elena
Negrea, Hermione Prescott-Luke, Katie Sherwood and Ellie-Mae Richardson.
