Norwich City have started the season well and were 3-2 winners against
AFC Wimbledon. A win could well have taken the Dons into second place but a brace
from Kathryn Stanley, plus an own goal, gave Norwich their second win in three
matches. Hannah Billingham and Jess Lewry netted in reply for Wimbledon.
The two teams at the foot of the table at the start of play met each other and
it was Cambridge City who recorded their first league victory of the season, beating
Stevenage Women 4-1. Grace Stanley was on target twice for City along with
Charlotte Gillies and Amie Fullwood, whilst Stevenage's consolation came from Becky

Chesham Utd have gone level on points with leaders Southampton FC after
recording an extraordinary 9-3 victory away to Exeter City, who had started the day
in fourth place. After going behind to a third minute goal from Anthea Kaptein,

Fraser and Anneka Nuttall each scoring twice along with Kirsty Gladwin, Emma Delves
and Riva Casley. Fraser went on to complete her hat-trick during the second half and
Natasha Smith also got on the scoresheet, with Steph Beck and Emily Toogood both
       netting for Exeter.
The other match to survive the weather was at Poole Town, where visitors
Cheltenham Town ran out 5-0 winners. Jade Grove was on target twice, with further
goals coming from Abby Bevan, Charlotte Criddle and Lauren Kayll to seal
