three but it was Leeds' in-form striker Laura Bartup who scored a hat-trick, whilst Sarah
Danby and Abbie Brown accounted for the other goals.
Liverpool Feds actually drop back into second place despite recording a good win
themselves, 3-0 against Bradford City. Paige Cole gave the Feds a fourth minute lead which
was doubled before half time by Molly Farley, before Cole completed her brace in the opening
minute of the second half.
Newcastle Utd meanwhile bounced back from defeat seven days earlier to beat
Durham Cestria 4-0 and move themselves back into third place. Kacie Elson was on target
twice for the Magpies along with Katie Barker and Bethany Guy.
The points were shared at Norton & Stockton Ancients where the home side
battled out a goalless draw with Chorley, but the result means that Chorley hold on to fourth
place in the table.
Stockport County are starting to pick up some momentum and are in the top half
following their 5-0 success away to Alnwick Town. Jess Battle, Emily Bradshaw, Maria
Figueiredo, Kenedy Owen and Abi Cheshworth all scored a goal apiece for County.
The six matches in the league on Sunday saw an unusual occurrence in which none
of them saw both teams find the net. Although they stay in the bottom two for now at least,
Barnsley celebrated their first league win of the season, 4-0 against Chester-le-Street
Town. All of the goals came in the final third of the game, Rebekah Coe opening the scoring
before Nat Shaw bagged a brace and Eve Marshall added the other.
Division One Midlands
Lincoln City have edged a further point ahead at the top, thanks to a 4-2 victory away to
Leafield Athletic. Leah Hardy hit a hat-trick for the Lady Imps and Jessica Rousseau was
also on target, whilst the home side replied through Chloe Barker-Duthie and Katie Johnson.
Boldmere St Michaels moved back into second after getting back to form with a
5-2 win at Peterborough Utd. Steph Weston scored a hat-trick while Evie Billingsley and
Amelia Kirk netted the others for the Mikes, Jessica Driscoll and Kier Perkins netting the
Posh Ladies' goals.
Long Eaton Utd and Sporting Khalsa meanwhile shared four goals, a third
draw this season for both teams. Lucie Johnstone and Cala Thornton were the markswomen
for Long Eaton, while Khalsa scored through Gurjit Dulay and Louisa Anderson.
Leek Town received a setback as they were beaten 6-1 by Holwell Sports, who
have closed to within two points of them. Chantelle Robinson scored a hat-trick for Holwell,
Courtney Cropper contributed a double and an own goal completed the tally, Leek's
consolation coming from Katie Gibbons.
Solihull Moors were involved in another high scoring game, this time edging out
Burton Albion by the odd goal in nine. Kathryn Pagan and Lois Jefferies each scored twice
and Jessica Lundie the other for Moors - whose eight games have yielded 47 goals so far - and
Burton replied through a Danielle Oxley brace, Mollie Garner and Ella Ritchie.
Division One South East
Hashtag Utd preserved their three point lead as they defeated Cambridge City 2-0. Sasha
Adamson scored a first half brace to hand the Tags a seventh win in eight matches.
Billericay Town stay in second place, with a game in hand, following their 2-1
victory over Norwich City. Jay Blackie and Shannan Drewe netted the goals for Billericay,
with Natasha Snelling replying.
Third placed AFC Wimbledon made it three wins on the trot with a 3-0 success
away to Kent Football Utd. All of the goals came in the last twenty minutes, Chloe
Sampson putting the Dons in front before they sealed the points with a late double from
Megan Stow.
Actonians Ladies returned to winning ways by scoring six times without reply
against Cambridge Utd. Alessandra Barreca bagged two of the goals and she was joined on
the scoresheet by Roschelle Shakes, Justine Buckmire, Melia D'Santos and Jessica Drage.
