The County Leagues...

       Gloucestershire League
       Pucklechurch Sports are on the brink of lifting the league title despite not having a game
       on  Sunday.  Olveston  Utd  went  down  to  a  second  successive  defeat  to  wreck  their
       challenge, this time they were beaten 3-1 by Gloucester City. Beth Smith, Megan Prout
       and Rakiya Morgan-King scored the goals to give the home side their best league result of
       the season so far, whilst Olveston's late consolation came from Rosanna Blacker. The other
       games  in  the  division  saw  Abbeymead  Rovers  and  Longlevens  share  six  goals,
       Longlevens scoring through Lauren Mills (2) and Lucy Skelding.
            For the second week running, Bristol Rovers Development picked up a crucial
       victory against one of their title rivals in Division Two. Gift Ihejieto scored both goals as
       Rovers moved into second place with a 2-1 success away to Tuffley Rovers, whose reply
       came from Holly Kay. The two teams at the foot of the table met each other and produced a
       fine game, City of Gloucester edging out Ellwood Ladies 4-3. Katie Carrington-Stait,
       Caitlin Marden, Poppy Best and Lilli-Mae Owen all scored for the visitors as they recorded
       their  second  win  of  the  season,  despite  strikes  from  Ellwood  by  Helen  Edwards,  Emma
       Symonds and Sophie Drain.
            In Division Three, Whitchurch & Bristol closed the gap on Bradley Stoke to
       three points, thanks to a 3-0 victory over Kingswood Women. Faith Constable, Ilarna
       Nche and Jessica Nicholls all found the net to boost their team's chase for the title. Abby
       Shipway  and  Paige  Fowler  were  on  target  for  Olveston  Utd  Res  as  they  beat
       Winchcombe Town 2-1, Emily Wright replying.
            Longwell Green went through to the quarter finals of the Gordon Perrett Cup but
       were pushed all the way by Cheltenham Civil Service, winning 5-3 on penalties after the
       match  had  finished  goalless.  Another  game  which  went  to  spot  kicks  saw  Cirencester
       Town  eventually  triumph  over  Division  Three  leaders  Bradley  Stoke,  after  an  evenly
       contested tie had ended 0-0. Megan Collins and Jessica Cox were on target for Bishop's
       Cleeve as they won 2-1 away to Mitcheldean SC, who replied through Beth Cole. Dursley
       Town meanwhile ran out 7-0 winners over Stoke Lane Athletic, Michelle Watson netting
       twice along with Morgan Tayler, Phoebe Booth, Lucy Jones, Victoria Grimshaw and an own
       goal, and Red Falcon Club complete the line up in the last eight after a Harriot Mason goal
       earned them a 1-0 success at Southmead Community Sport.
       Greater London League
       Bromley FC Ladies are only two points off the pace in the Premier Division following
       their 5-0 victory over Headstone Manor. Mercedes Broomfield scored twice along with
       Eloise Bovill, Samantha Kilroy-Downs and Lucy Rix to put a gap of four points between the
       two teams and step up Bromley's title challenge.
            Clapton  Community  were  taken  all  the  way  by  Division  One  North  leaders
       Queen's Park Rangers Res in the John Greenacre Memorial Trophy before eventually
       progressing on penalties. Marta Perez (2) and Emily Link netted for Clapton as the match
       finished 3-3, whilst Rangers' replies came via a Mollie Dench double and Amelia Halawi.
       Enfield Town 3rds also got through on spot kicks after Kally-Ann Westgarth netted their
       1-1  draw  with  AFC  Leyton,  who  scored  through  Jada  McGibbon.  Dieda  Fennema  and
       Paulina Koutroubis scored for Comets in their 2-1 win away to UCL Academicals, whose
       consolation came from Tara Mathias, whilst goals from Kalina Georgieva (2) and Monique
       Mitchell-Marshall  earned  Edgware  Town  a  3-1  victory  over  East  London  Ladies.
       Actonians Ladies Res defeated Tooting Bec 4-0 thanks to Aurelia Peterson-Rajalingam
       (2), Charlotte Callear and Jodie Regan, whilst South London Laces triumphed in a high
