Northern Premier Division
Nottingham Forest turned up the heat at the top
with a 10-1 victory over Boldmere St Michaels,
which takes them five points clear. Charlotte
Greengrass, Yasmin Mosby and Rosetta Taylor all
scored twice for Forest along with Amy West,
Arryana Daniels, Mai Moncaster and an own goal.
Wolverhampton Wanderers moved
themselves back into second as they ran out 4-1
winners over Fylde Women. Beth Merrick
netted twice inside the opening seventeen minutes
and they went on to add further goals through
Destiney Toussaint and Tammi George.
Southern Premier Division
Ipswich Town have gone top of the table for the
first time this season after they defeated London
Bees 3-0. Freya Godfrey was on target twice for
the Tractor Girls along with Sarah Brasero- Ashley Cheatley hits the bar with an overhead kick
Carriera. for Ashford Town (Middlesex), watched by team mate
Portsmouth returned into second place Lavana Neufville and Norwich City’s Anna Larkins
after a goal eight minutes from time by Jazz (www.jamesprickett.co.uk).
Younger earned them a narrow 1-0 victory against
Plymouth Argyle.
Watford kept themselves firmly in the running, courtesy of a 2-0 success away to
Gillingham. The first half was goalless but Bianca Baptiste fired Watford ahead with
twenty minutes remaining and Poppy Wilson sealed the points with the second goal, deep
into injury time.
Billericay Town completed a quickfire double over Bridgwater Utd, beating them
for the second successive week. Jessica King (2), Lucy Jones and Zoe Rushen got on the
scoresheet as Billericay ran out 4-1 winners, with Ellie Sara replying.
Mollie Coupar, Angelina Nixon and Laura Mitchell were the markswomen for Milton
Keynes Dons as they kept up their recent good run of form by beating Crawley Wasps
3-1, Letitia Nicholls netting a consolation for the visitors.
Division One North
One match was played in the division on Sunday, third placed Barnsley battling out a 2-2
draw with Norton & Stockton Ancients. Barnsley had won 6-0 when the teams met
seven days earlier but on this occasion, Brooke Marsden and Eve Marshall were on target
for Barnsley and Bianca Owens netted a brace for Norton.
Division One Midlands
League leaders Stourbridge were pegged back to a 2-2 by Lincoln City and have edged
further clear at the top of the table. Toni McHamilton and Madison Green were on target for
Lincoln as they picked up one of their best results of the season so far, whilst Lois Jefferies
netted a brace for the Glassgirls.
Peterborough Utd meanwhile scored six times without reply past Wem Town to
move themselves back into fifth. Kier Perkins netted a brace for the Posh Women and she
was joined on the scoresheet by Evie Driscoll-King, Rachel Lawrence, Rosie Axten and
Jessica Driscoll.
