The newly formed Elite AFC (Doncaster) were convincing winners at both Under-13 and Under-16
levels in the inaugural Sheffield &
Hallamshire County FA Girls Cup finals
held at Dinnington Town.
The Under-13s were 7-1 winners over
Barnsley Ladies (who had completed the
Sheffield & Hallam Women and Girls
County League and Cup double) in their
final. An early goal set the pattern for the
first half which ended with Elite five goals
ahead. The second half was much more even.
The Under-16s were 9-0 (HT 4-0)
winners against Wickersley Youth.
