East Midlands League
Lincoln Utd are within a single point of taking the runners-up spot in the Premier Division,
moving themselves closer with a 7-1 victory over Mansfield Town. Lincoln were further boosted
by the news that Chesterfield went down to a 3-2 defeat to Basford Utd and may have to
settled for third. Summer Reece, Danielle Sanderson and an own goal gave Basford the points,
whilst Sophie Marshall netted a brace in reply. Anstey Nomads meanwhile defeated Arnold
Eagles 3-0 they are looking on course for a top half finish.
One match took place in Division One Central, and it didn't produce any goals! Sherwood
FC Women and Notts County Development battled out a goalless draw which means that
County remain one place above Sherwood in the table.
The last two matches of the season were played in Division One South and third placed
Kettering Town wrapped up their campaign with a 7-1 victory away to Loughborough Foxes
Vixens. Brodie Betts and Samantha Christie each netted twice for Kettering along with Lauren
Adams, Mikaela Welford and an own goal. Amelia Boddington, Hannah Pendred, Katherine Ford
and Emma Beevor meanwhile scored the goals as Thrapston Town won 4-3 against Leicester
City Ladies, for whom Hollie Handisides hit a hat-trick in reply.
Eastern Region League
AFC Sudbury maintained their four point lead at the top by running out 4-0 winners away to
Colney Heath. Jessica Allen, Phoebe Guiver, Holly Kennard and Aliyat Lambe all scored a goal
apiece for Sudbury whilst second placed Stevenage Women edged out Bedford Ladies by the
odd goal in seven, Erin Price netting twice along with Amy Makewell and Victoria Neal, whilst
Aliya Bhatti, Natasha Fensome and Destiny Pap all replied for Bedford. Needham Market won
2-1 against Wroxham, Amber Cantwell and Paige Wakefield scoring the goals to keep them in
contention and Lucy Bradford replying. Luton Town meanwhile returned to form with a vital
3-2 victory away to Haringey Borough. Jess McKay netted twice and Fiona Constable the other
for Luton, whilst Haringey's goals came from Ronnell Humes and Kasandra Rukat. Georgia
Freeman, Jodie Hopkins-Duckhouse and Amy Magnus all got on the scoresheet as King's Lynn
Town won again, 3-1 at Royston Town.
AFC Dunstable have taken a huge stride towards the Division One North title after they
won 2-1 against Biggleswade Utd in their top of the table clash. Gemma Whitchurch and
Georgia Zeolla scored the goals to take Dunstable six points clear, whilst Biggleswade's reply
came from Tashai Simms. Sophie Lubbock and Vicky Lubbock scored the goals for Fakenham
Town as they shared a draw with Newmarket Town for the second week running, with Holly
Corley and Lidiya Mykhaylechko replying.
Barking sewed up the Division One South title as a Lindsay Sibbons brace, Ammarah Ali
and Faith Reilly earned them a 4-2 victory away to AFC Sudbury Res. Billericay Town
Development will have to wait and see if they will take the runners-up spot, they finished up by
beating Wodson Park 4-1 with a goal apiece from Sophie Hart, Kelsey Lucas, Bo Payne and
Hannah Warner. Hutton can still overhaul Billericay by winning their last game and an 8-2
victory over East Bergholt Utd keeps them on course, Victoria Kinsman bagging a hat-trick
along with Lucy Critchell (2), Isobel Boyd, Isobel Chrichton and Abigail Fry. Lindsey Morgan
netted twice to give Lawford a two-goal lead at half time against Grays Athletic, who battled
back after the break and salvaged a 2-2 draw thanks to Daisy Stevenson and Evie Lynch.
London & South East League
Ebbsfleet Utd got straight back to winning ways with a 3-1 success against Dulwich Hamlet
which keeps them three points clear at the top of the table from second placed Worthing FC
Women, who stayed on their heels by defeating Sutton Utd 2-0, courtesy of a goal apiece from
Samantha Quayle and Georgia Tibble.
In the only match to be played in Division One North, Dorking Wanderers' tricky spell
continues as they were beaten 1-0 by Whyteleafe. A win would have taken Dorking up to third
but an Abigail Woollvin goal gave 'Leafe a fine result, which takes them level on points with them.
