WSS: Before the break, the division was shaping up to be a close one, can you see it
staying that way when it resumes?
CT: Yes, I think the league is always a close one, everyone has the ability to beat anyone on their
day. I think you will have the usual teams up there at the top along with some surprises. We just
concentrate on each game as it comes and hopefully towards the end of the season we are up there.

AFC Bournemouth CST take on Southampton FC Women in the First Round of the Vitality Women’s
FA Cup this Sunday and the Southern Region League side are approaching the match in front of a sell
       out crowd with quiet confidence.
“I’m really looking forward to Sunday as I think it will be a good challenge for us as a squad
and I know that if we perform on the day, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t win this,” defender
Kayleigh Wort told Women’s Soccer Scene. “It’s also great to be at home as it’s a ground we are
       comfortable in.
“If we won on Sunday it would mean so much. We would prove how strong we are as a squad
and show everyone that when we work together, we can beat teams in higher leagues. It would also
be amazing to make history for the club as they’ve supported us so much and it would be giving
       something back.
“The FA Cup means a lot to me as it’s a chance to show outsiders where the club could be and
should be in terms of level. It’s a chance to be challenged and play against teams we wouldn’t usually.
It’s also a time to leave nothing out on the pitch and as Steve [Cuss] says, ‘have no regrets.’”
Bournemouth manager Steve Cuss added: “The FA Cup journey so far has provided many
highs, and created some good memories and to still be in the competition four months after starting
it is a fantastic achievement by the players. Sunday's game is a real challenge, Southampton are
proven to be a very good side but it’s a game that we can look forward to going into with confidence
       with our pre-lockdown results.
“In terms of making history for the football club, we've equalled the furthest we have ever
got to in the competition and that is testament to the players who have all worked extremely hard and
performed well. We know the game is sold out and we want the players to enjoy it and I’m sure it will
be a good advert for the women's game.”
