Gemma Grainger has announced her Wales squad for the 2023 Pinatar Cup in Spain this
       month.
           Grainger has selected a 27-player squad for Wales’ first camp of the year as her side
       look to build on their strong 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
           Sheffield United goalkeeper Bethan Davies has received her first call up to the squad.
       Davies will join up with the team halfway through the tournament while fellow goalkeeper
       Safia Middleton-Patel will leave the camp early to join up with Wales Under-19s for their
       mini-tournament in Portugal.
           Defender Gemma Evans could celebrate a milestone 50th appearance in Spain if she
       features in two games in the tournament.
           This will be the second time that Wales will compete in the competition, following their
       first  appearance  last  year.  Grainger's  side  will  be  taking  on  the  Philippines  (7.30pm,
       Wednesday  15th  February),  Iceland  (7.30pm,  Saturday  18th  February)  and  Scotland
       (2.05pm, Tuesday 21st February) at the Pinatar Arena. Entry for the matches is ticketless and
       free of charge.
           The matches will be shown live on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport website.
