Cheshunt notched up their first victory, 4-2 against Grays Athletic with Antonietta Green,
Aimee Burling, Taila Kirkpatrick and Khyrah Fagbemi accounting for the goals.
London & South East League
Ebbsfleet Utd caught up ground on the top three in the Premier Division by winning 5-1 away to
Dartford. Amy Russ, Lydia Wills, Amelia Woodgate, Dan Carlton and Asanteni Charles scored a
goal apiece for 'Fleet. Dulwich Hamlet meanwhile ran out 6-1 winners over New London
Lionesses, Sophie Manzi and Roisin Stone each netted braces with Ella Bonner and Olga Ocran
also on target.
Clapton Community hold on to the leadership of Division One North but went down to
their third defeat of the season, 2-1 at the hands of Sport London e Benfica. Kendal Drake and
Kimberly Castro scored the goals, with Marta Casanovas replying. Helen Bellfield was on target for
Dulwich Hamlet Res as they shared a 1-1 draw with Whyteleafe, who replied through Echo
Barrett, whilst Richmond Park and Hackney also finished level at 1-1, goals coming from
Gemam Lambert and Kate Meehan respectively. Lauren Cox and Jenny Nagle netted the goals as
Denham Utd won 2-0 away to Leatherhead (see match report).
The top three teams in Division One South did not play and Bromley FC Women are in
fourth after beating Maidstone Utd 5-3 with goals from Katie Busher, Beth Hull, Terri-Ann
Warren, Charlotte Lee and Sylvia Safranovic. Charlotte Markham and Lauren Smith netted the
goals as Newhaven won 2-1 away to Bexhill Utd and Herne Bay were 9-1 victors over Cray
Valley (PM) thanks to hat-tricks from Elena Brock and Lauren Harris, while Kate Foster, Erin
MacLennan and Izzy Taggart added the others. Abby Chriss and Daisy Meehan were on target for
Steyning Town Community as they shared a 2-2 draw with Montpelier Villa, who netted
through Saskia Taylor-Doyle and Nicole White.
Dorking Wanderers advanced in the League Cup with a ten-goal victory over Premier
Division Enfield Town, Cherelle Khassel and Katie Butts each hitting hat-tricks with Xayla-Rae
Alberts, Charlotte Keenan, Mika Keen and an own goal completing the tally. Fulham FC Women
defeated Hastings Utd 4-0 with a goal apiece from Summer Roberts, Georgia Heasman, Ellie
Olds and Charmaine True, whilst Rebecca Bell (2), Niamh Andersson, Gemma Worsfold and Katie
Young accounted for the goals as Worthing FC Women won 5-1 at Welling Utd.
One match was played in the League Trophy, Eastbourne Utd advancing on a penalty
shootout after their tie with Watford Development finished level at 2-2.
North East League
Chester-le-Street Town maintained their lead of six points in the Premier Division with a 5-2
victory away to third placed Wallsend Boys Club. Charlotte Proud netted twice for the Cestrians
along with Elizabeth Clarke, Nichole Havery and Isla Maggs. South Shields keep up the chase in
second place, they won 4-2 at Wakefield thanks to Eve Gatens, Sophie Greener, Alex Miller and
Ellie White. Michelle Stewart bagged a hat-trick, with Chloe Young and Georgia Thompson adding
the others, as Alnwick Town ran out 5-1 winners over Redcar Town and Hull Utd defeated
Sunderland West End 5-3, Jessica Robinson (2), Suzanne Smith, Jade Newlove and Eleanor
Robinson accounting for their goals.
Rachel Hepple and Catherine Shields scored the goals as Northern Division leaders
Wallsend BC Res won 2-0 at West Allotment Celtic to go three points in front of
Washington Women who shared a 1-1 draw with Thornaby Ladies. The next three teams in
the table are all level on points, headed by Hartlepool Utd after they drew 2-2 with Gateshead
FC Ladies. Robyn Foster and Jessica Bage were on target for Hartlepool, whilst Gateshead netted
through Christine Murray and Lyndsey Bell. Holly Doogan netted twice as Chester-le-Street
Utd beat Norton & Stockton Ancients Res 2-0, whilst Hartlepool Pools Youth won 3-0 at
Guisborough Town thanks to Lucy O'Keefe (2) and Aimee Stabler.
The Southern Division top of the table clash between leaders Handsworth and second
placed Barnsley Ladies lived up to its billing with the visitors winning 3-2 to end the game above
their hosts by virtue of goal difference. It was a flowing game throughout (credit to both teams as
well as referee Stacey Hall) and all the key action came in a 15 minute spell spanning the interval.
Jodie Gregory put Barnsley ahead after 37 minutes and within a minute it was 2-0, captain Sadie
Hooper applying the finish. Kelly Jepson halved the deficit immediately before the half time
whistle. Handsworth were level four minutes into the second half when Jepson netted her second,
