The league will be based at two venues operating in the East and West of the county.
       Fixtures will be midweek, adopting a flexible approach resulting in teams playing every
       other week, allowing players to fit this opportunity in and around their work and other
       playing commitments.
         ● East Division - Callington 3G (Friday - 7pm to 9pm)
         ● West Division - Falmouth School 3G (Thursday - 8pm to 9pm)
           Both  leagues  will  be  split  into  two  phases  (each  phase  running  for  a  total  of  14
       weeks)  with  a  break  for  Christmas  inbetween.  Therefore,  new  teams  can  join  the
       provision over the Christmas break ahead of Phase 2. Both leagues will commence on the
       week  beginning  12th  September  2022  and  operate  in  a  format  of  7/9  a  side  (TBC
       following initial launch meeting) with 40-minute matches.
           Cornwall FA are encouraging all current and new girls/women’s teams to enter a
       new Girls U18 team into the league for the 2022-23 season. To register your interest, visit
       the Cornwall FA website and fill in the form provided. Eligible players must be 15 years
       old by 1/9/22 to play in the league.

       The Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup has reached the quarter finals stage. The
       last eight of the competition kicks off on Thursday night with Premiership side Crusaders
       Strikers taking on Championship winners Larne Women at home (8pm).
           Standing between holders Glentoran Women and a place in the last four are NIWFA
       Division 1 side Ballyclare Comrades Ladies. The two sides meet on Friday evening. The
       Glens are aiming to make it four competition wins on the spin following successes in
       2021, 2019 and 2018. Covid-19 meant the 2020 decider was not played.
           Elsewhere  in  the  draw,  Premiership  leaders  Cliftonville  Ladies  take  on  Linfield
       Ladies in the tie of the round. St James' Swifts have withdrawn from the competition,
       which means that Sion Swifts progress to semi finals stage.

       The Wales Under-17 squad have travelled to Zagreb this week where they will face Croatia
       in two friendly matches. Both matches will be hosted at the Stadion NK Trešnjevka.
           Wales’  first  game  will  take  place  on  Wednesday  14th  September  (3pm)  and  the
       second match will take place two days later, on Friday 16th September (10am).
