Genero Adran League
Swansea City completed a double over Cardiff Met Women when they defeated them 3-0 to
record a sixth straight win.
Shaunna Jenkins gave Swansea the lead just after the half hour and Stacey John-Davis
made it two just before half time. John-Davis wrapped up the win with her second goal, twelve
minutes from time.
The Swans continue to lead the table on goal difference from Cardiff City Women, who
ran out 8-2 winners over Port Talbot Town. Catherine Walsh gave City an eighth minute lead
and after Phoebie Poole and Ffion Price had added further goals, Walsh scored her second. Lisa
Owen and Danielle Green also got on the scoresheet to put City six ahead at half time. Kirsty
O’Donnell pulled one back for Port Talbot but Amy Williams restored the six-goal advantage.
Freya Davies reduced the arrears again but City were to have the final say as Walsh scored her
hat-trick goal in injury time.
Aberystwyth Town kept up their impressive season with a 2-1 victory away to Barry
Town Utd. Mackenzie Olden gave Barry a sixth minute lead which was cancelled out after the
break by Carys Davies, and with three minutes remaining, in-form striker Flavia Jenkins settled
the match in Aber’s favour.
The points were shared at Pontypridd Town where the home side battled out a 1-1 draw
with The New Saints. The scoreline was goalless at the interval but midway through the second
half, Caitlin Chapman gave TNS the lead via a free kick. Pontypridd salvaged a point for
themselves when Anais Trinci equalised
eight minutes from time although TNS could PREMIER DIVISION P W D L F A Pts GD
