Stoke City meanwhile ended a run of five league defeats when they defeated
Liverpool Feds 2-0. Carra Jones gave Stoke the lead just before half time, before Roisin
Kivel sealed the points with the second goal late on.
Southern Premier Division
Portsmouth made it six league wins on the trot, five of which have been away from home,
with a 4-1 success at London Bees which keeps them on top of the table. Danielle Lane hit
a hat-trick for Pompey and Tierney Scott added the other goal, whilst the Bees' consolation
came from Danielle Puddefoot.
Oxford Utd bounced back from their first defeat to win 2-1 away to Billericay Town
and they stay one point adrift of Portsmouth. Iesha Swaby and Carly Johns were on target for
the U's, with Jay Blackie replying.

Utd. Natasha Thomas and Lucy O'Brien, from the penalty spot, scored for the Tractor Girls
who are five points off the pace, with a game in hand.
Watford kept up their challenge, thanks to a 3-1 success away to Cheltenham Town.
Kalani Peart gave Watford an early lead which was quickly cancelled out by Kylie Nolan, but
an own goal put the Golden Girls back in front early in the second half, before Poppy Wilson
sealed the points in injury time.
Gillingham recorded their first league win since October, beating Milton Keynes
Dons 2-0. Breon Grant netted both goals to give the Gills a result which moves them back
into mid-table, moving above their opponents in the process.
Only one team playing at home managed a victory on Sunday and that was Crawley
Wasps, who broke their duck for the season with a vital 2-1 success against Plymouth
Argyle. Rosie McDonnell did give Argyle a ninth minute lead, but two second half goals from
substitute Letitia Nicholls earned Crawley their first win and rekindled their hopes of staying
up.
