Introducing Melksham Town A.F.C.

Goalkeepers
Joel Manning
Joel is a young and talented keeper who joined the club during pre-season on dual
registration from Chippenham Town. He has quickly established himself as a strong voice at
the back. He is a commanding and able stopper, who will be building on a season spent with
Keynsham Town last year. Joel has previously spent time with a number of professional
academies' including Bristol City and Cheltenham Town.
Kieran Perrin
Kieran is a young goalkeeper and local lad who made his debut in January 2024 against
Bashley. A solid and promising keeper who has played at Bradford Town and remains dual-
registered with Warminster Town who play in the Western League.
DEFENDERS
Jaiden Pearce
The youngster is a product of the extensive youth setup at Melksham Town and has played
age group football rising through the ranks to make his First Team debut in 2022. He is
quick, powerful and quickly settled into the side as a regular towards the end of last season.
He will be looking to build his experience this year and cement his place in the squad.
David Thompson
Thommo is a local lad who has played nearly 400 games for his home town club, whilst also
plying his trade with Frome Town and Paulton Rovers amongst others. Combative and
physical he is a natural defender and someone who always competes and gives 100%.
Appointed as a player coach in November 2022 he will look to bring his experience and
leadership in his new role.
Sayeed Ibrahim
After over a decade on from his debut for the club in 2011, Sayeed has asserted himself as
a Melksham legend. A local lad who has shown incredible loyalty and admirable
dependability, as well as being a role model for younger players in the club, and this has
cemented himself as a fan favourite within the black and yellow family. Pacey, ever-present
and a long throw that causes defences all kinds of issues, Sayeed is a real asset to the squad.
Jack Carter
Jack recently rejoined us on loan from Forest Green Rovers and has already established
himself amongst the first team. He has previously had a loan spell at Highworth Town, and
as a young professional is now getting regular starts with Melksham. A combative and
tenacious player who can link the play together well and can run all game. Since his first loan
spell he has played a number of times for Forest Green Rovers first team.
Robbie James
Robbie signed from Hellenic Premier side Fairford Town. He has an excellent reputation
locally and was the captain of Fairford despite his young age. Previously with Cirencester
Town he is a strong central defender with good feet and an ability to score goals.
Dion Molyneux
Dion joined the club from Cinderford Town during the summer of 23. A tall and powerful
player who was captain at Cinderford and is a natural organiser and leader at the back. A
welcome addition to the squad as we look to add experience and guile to our young squad.
A former Newport County prospect, Dion adds to the Welsh contingent within the squad.
Aaron Witchell
Aaron was brought to the club in November 2022 after starring for neighbours Bradford
Town in the Hellenic Premier League. Primarily a defender, Aaron is equally comfortable in
midfield and will be looking to establish himself at Melksham.
Nuno Felix
Nuno re signed for us during the summer of 2023 following a spell at league rivals Paulton
Rovers. He is a an experienced and cultured left sided player who is comfortable at left back
or pushing forward. He has previously played at Chippenham Town, Yate Town and Taunton
Town.
