In Town today BRACKNELL TOWN F.C.
beating Thatcham in the final of the Bluefin Sport Challenge Cup to
add yet another trophy to our collection.
2018 - 2019
The 2018/19 season was our first venture into Step 4 for many years
and once again we came close, finishing second behind Hayes &
Yeading and missing out on promotion by losing the play-off final to
Cheshunt. We reached the semi-final of the Velocity Trophy with
impressive victories against sides much higher up the footballing
pyramid.
In December 2019 we had the pleasure to announce the hugely
experienced Bobby Wilkinson as permanent manager. Bobby wasted
no time in building a very strong back-room team and together they
will hopefully rebuild on the platform that we started in 2016/17 and
push the club forward to greater things in the coming seasons.
The Covid Years
Despite both the 2019/2020 and 2020/21 seasons being cut short by
Covid, the club’s on-field ambitions were matched by our efforts off
the field. We embarked on a project to move away from Larges Lane
to build a new 2500 capacity stadium at Bottom Meadow, Sandhurst
which hosted our first competitive match in August 2021.
2021 - 2022
2021/2022 was a monumental season for the club, under the
guidance of Bobby Wilkinson we gained promotion to Step 3 for the
first time in the clubs’ history.
The Isthmian League South Central title was secured with 96 points
out of a possible 108 and with a 20-point winning margin.
The club now enters new chapter as we look to establish ourselves
in the Southern League Premier South for the 2022/23 Season.
