until the hour-mark for the opening goal and it was the Magpies` Kaya
Tshaka who got it. Josh Baker levelled in the 82nd minute, but the visitors
couldn’t hold on and Connor Cocklin sealed Wimborne’s win in the 87th
minute.
Evesham United are level on points with Bashley in seventh after earning
a point at the Oakfield Stadium against the team in eighth, Melksham
Town. A good crowd of 494 saw Albie Hopkins give the home side an early
6th minute lead. But the Robins levelled through Will Owens in the 19th
minute and then 5 minutes after the break, went ahead through Kyle
Belmonte. Ralph Graham equalised for Town in the 72nd minute and they
remain two points behind their visitors with a game in hand.
At the other end of the table, third-from-bottom Bristol Manor Farm
moved three points above second-bottom Cinderford Town after winning
3-2 at The Creek. It was a real battle in which Ben Bament put Farm in front
after just 3 minutes. Jamie Bremner equalised on 28 minutes but the home
side went into half-time 3-1 in front, thanks to experienced striker Owen
Howe, who rounded several defenders before slotting home his first in the
31st minute and then sent a 25-yard free-kick into the corner of the net in
the 41st minute for his second and Farm’s third. Felix Miles `won` the
second half for the Foresters with a goal after 74 minutes but Alex Sykes`
side were unable to find a leveller.
Lymington Town’s recent improvement continued, and they are now five
points clear of Farm and Willand Rovers in 15th place after winning 1-0
at mid-table Exmouth Town. Freddie Bullard’s 36th minute effort in the end
proved enough for the Linnets at the Circle of Care Community Stadium.
Larkhall Athletic moved up to tenth in the standings after beating
Paulton Rovers 2-1 at Plain Ham. Rovers got off to a great start when
former Lark Jack Dancey opened the scoring in the 2nd minute. It wasn’t
until the 70th minute that the home side managed to wipe out that lead
through a Brad Norris free-kick. And then 2 minutes into stoppage time,
substitute Raz Alamu-Tajudeen grabbed the Larks` winner.
