Danske Bank NI Women’s Premiership

       Cliftonville  Ladies  power  on  at  the  top  of  the  Danske  Bank  NI  Women’s  Premiership  and
       remain five points ahead after winning 3-1 away to Linfield. Kirsty McGuinness gave Cliftonville
       the lead against her former club on the stroke of half time but Linfield battled back after the break
       to equalise through Carla Devine. Erin Montgomery put the Reds back in front on the hour mark
       and McGuinness wrapped up the points with her second goal.
          Glentoran bounced back after defeat to Cliftonville seven days earlier and it was Derry
       City who caught the backlash. Lauren Wade led the scoring with a hat-trick as the Glens ran out
       7-0 winners, after Cora Morgan and Sarah Connolly had given them a two-goal lead. Connolly
       netted  her  second  during  the  second  half  and  Sasha  Clare  also  got  on  the  scoresheet  for  the
       reigning Champions.
          Crusaders Strikers have leapt up into third place, following their 4-1 victory away to its
       previous occupants, Sion Swifts. The home side had been unbeaten since the opening day of the

          The  two  newly  promoted  side  met
       each  other,  with  both  still  seeking  their  Glentoran 7 Derry 0; Linfield 1 Cliftonville 3; Mid Ulster 2 Lisburn 4;
                                       Sion 1 Crusaders 4.
       first  victory  of  the  season,  and  it  was
       Lisburn Ladies who broke that duck with a 4-2 victory away to Mid Ulster Ladies. Niamh
       O’Donnell’s early goal for Mid Ulster was cancelled out by Stacey Murdough on the half hour and
       Sara Stevenson netted twice ahead of half time. Roisin Bolger reduced the arrears after the break
       but Lisburn went on to seal the points when Stevenson scored her hat-trick goal.
