winners over Cheltenham Civil Service. Charlotte Warren scored a hat-trick, with Lucy Jones
and Louise Pegler adding the others for Dursley Town in their 5-3 victory over Mitcheldean
SC, who responded with a Kate Ambrey double and Jade Powell.
The title race in Division Three came to a very dramatic conclusion! Having beaten
Ellwood Ladies the previous Sunday, Red Falcon Club Ladies needed a point from their final
match in order to win the division, whilst opponents Tuffley Rovers could also finish on top if
they won by a five-goal margin. In the end, Red Falcon's hearts were broken as they were beaten
1-0, Holly Kay scoring the only goal of the game, but Ellwood are crowned as Champions with
Tuffley finishing as runners-up. In the other match, Winchcombe Town finished off their
season well as they defeated Bradley Stoke Vixens 9-1. Katy Bradshaw scored a hat-trick along
with doubles from Anna Howes and Alisha Parker. Kelly Adams and Louise Dickens joined them
on the scoresheet, whilst the visitors' consolation came from Eloise Manning.
Greater London League
Premier Division leaders Walton Casuals did not play on Sunday but their nearest rivals could
not make any indents into their advantage. Second placed Islington Borough were beaten 2-0
by Crystal Palace Development, whilst Clapton Community drew 2-2 with Enfield Town
Res. Natalie Howard and Katie Knell were on target for Enfield, whilst Clapton scored through
Marta Perez and Ciara Robinson. Brentford also lost ground when they went down 2-1 to
Dulwich Hamlet Res, for whom Catherine Campbell netted both goals. Regents Park
Rangers and Hampton & Richmond Borough meanwhile exchanged 1-0 victories in their
double header, Trudy Kerr scoring for Hampton in the first meeting and Sammy Burdus on target
for Regents Park in the second.
Sport London E Benfica received a blow to their title challenge in Division One North
when they were beaten for the first time, 3-2 by Edgware Town. Polina Avramova, Claudia Kelly
and Monique Mitchell-Marshall scored for Edgware, with Iselin Vestnes and Kally-Ann Westgarth
replying. Quinn Garner and Danielle Ransom each bagged doubles as Enfield Town 3rds won
4-1 away to Ridgeway Rovers.
The top of the table clash in Division One South went the way of Bromley FC Women,
who beat Sutton Utd U21 5-2. Terri-Ann Warren (2), Charlotte Lee (2) and Lucy Rix scored the
goals to take Bromley three points clear, Sutton's replies came from Megan Button. Third placed
Balham Panthers were defeated 8-2 by Walton Casuals Res, for whom Hayden Halscheid hit
a hat-trick along with Hollie Barnfield, Phoebe Flynn, Rosie Hilton and Louise McGlennan. Sarah
Quinn and Kathleen Waterhouse accounted for the goals as South East Parakeets won 2-1 away
to South London Laces, whilst Miriam Haendler netted for UCL Academicals in their 1-1
draw with Tooting Bec, who replied through Charlotte Keenan.
Northamptonshire League
Peterborough Utd Res head Group A in the Challenge Cup following their 8-2 victory against
Corby Town. Emily Smith and Callie Tancred each netted twice for the Posh Ladies, with Jess
Broadway, Zoe Devonport, Aliyah Palmer and Sasha Tristram adding the others. Jade Tilley
bagged a brace for Corby S & L as they defeated AFC R&D 2-1.
Phoebe Prince was on target twice for Northampton Town Development in their 2-1
win away to Deanshanger Athletic in Group B. Rachel Waller meanwhile scored the goal for
Newport Pagnell Town as they shared a 1-1 draw with Roade Ladies.
Moulton Ladies have started strongly in Group C, scoring seven times without reply past
Crick Athletic. Sarah Calpin (2), Mollie Marshall (2), Caitlin Walker, Eve Lomasney and Alexa
Passingham accounted for Moulton's goals. Tara Hings, Holly Knight and Favour Omenazu were
all on the scoresheet as Bugbrooke St Michael won 3-0 away to Halse Utd.
In Group D, Desborough Ladies ran out 7-2 winners away to Great Linford, Rebecca
Garrett leading the scoring with a four-goal haul while Nicole Hadley (2) and Sophie Martin joined
her on target. Earls Barton Utd edged out Kettering FC Ladies by the odd goal in seven
courtesy of Emma Dunmore (2), Rachel Lowdon and Kelly Rickwood.
Kim Harvey scored four times and Madeline Yoxall weighed in with a brace for
Kingsthorpe Jets in their 6-3 win away to Daventry Town in Group E. Zoe Pittaway bagged a
double as Long Buckby defeated AFC R&D Blues 2-0.
