Chloe Ward had a great day in front of goal, scoring all four as Stotfold won the opening
match in Group F, 4-2 away to Flitwick Eagles whose replies came from Brittany Holdsworth and
Sophie Billington.
Garston Res have made a fast start in Group G, beating Whetstone Wanderers 7-2.
Oaklands Wolves Ladies Res were also winners, 2-0 at Evergreen Ladies with both strikes by
Jake Wallis.
Laura Cousins scored twice and Abby Cardall added the other as Sherrardswood defeated
Watton 3-0 in Group H. In the other game, Buntingford Town were 4-2 victors over BSC FC.
Eastbound Electrical Cornwall League
Saltash Utd were 3-0 winners over Callington Town Res in the East Division top of the table
clash. Mia-Mae Lawrence, Lucy Molseed and Hayley Ranachan all scored first half goals to take
Saltash six points clear at the top. Foxhole Stars follow on in third, they defeated Charlestown 7-2
thanks to Morgen Kent (2), Emily Collar (2), Claudia Beaumont-Olver, Emily Clemes and Megan
Beckly.
In the West Division, Penryn beat Illogan RBL 4-0 to go up into second place. Bethany
Churchill was on target twice along with Jasmine Butler and Brit Merriman.
Gloucestershire League
Bristol & West have gone to the top of Division One on the day of the league's return to action,
thanks to a 3-0 victory away to Abbeymead Rovers. Helen Brain, Beth Clatworthy and Katy
Hanscomb all scored for the new leaders who head the table by three points from Bristol Rovers,
who moved into second by scoring seven times without reply past Cotswold Rangers. Georgia
Vandries was on target four times for Rovers along with Anna Hubble, Annys Turner and Katie Davies.
Hayley Bullock meanwhile grabbed the only goal of the game as Longwell Green were 1-0 winners
at Gloucester City.
Olveston Utd have opened up a lead of three points in Division Two, thanks to a 5-0 victory
away to Mitcheldean SC. Abbie Mitchell rounded off the win with two late goals to add to earlier
strikes from Sarah Bailey, Rosanna Blacker and Naomi Lengyel. Longlevens stepped up their
challenge by beating Dursley Town 4-1. Lauren Mills (2), Aj Bourton and Hayley Colley were all on
target for Longlevens, with Lauren Farr replying. Second half goals from Lauren Harris and Tamsin
Shiply gave Bristol Rovers Development a hard earmed 2-1 win at Bradley Stoke who scored
through a Chloe Brown header. Harmony Wheeler and Lauren Wyatt were the markswomen for
Cheltenham Civil Service as they battled out a 2-2 draw with Cirencester Town, whose scorers
were Bec Brannan and Leah Haney-Wilcox.
Sophie Drain bagged a four-goal haul and Sarah Smith scored from the penalty spot as
Division Three leaders Ellwood ran out 5-0 winners over Winchcombe Town. Red Falcon
Ladies maintained their own 100% record in Division Three and trail the Forest of Dean side by three
points following their 6-1 victory over Bradley Stoke Vixens. Evelyn Cohen scored two and she was
joined on the scoresheet by Alice Gregory, Bobi Hyam, Amber Chaffe and TJ Harris. Holly Kay netted
twice and Jess Dobbins added the other as third placed Tuffley Rovers defeated Whitchurch &
Bristol 3-0.
Greater London League
Alana Francis-Ashmeil, Nicola Saunders, Bernice Tully and Rebecca E Price all scored a goal apiece as
Premier Division leaders Walton Casuals won 4-0 away to Dulwich Hamlet Res. They now head
the table by eleven points from Enfield Town Res who defeated Regents Park Rangers 5-2. Macy
Diaz, Claire Huggins, Katie Knell, Lucy Loomes and Olivia Martin were all on target for Enfield, with
Rhian O'Callaghan hitting a brace in reply. Yana Ballantyne netted the only goal of the game as
Islington Borough beat Hampton & Richmond Borough 1-0 and Crystal Palace
Development were 3-0 victors at Brentford thanks to Kayleigh Cartwright (2) and Skye Warren.
In Division One North, Sport London E Benfica won 7-0 away to Ridgeway Rovers to
narrow the gap on leaders Headstone Manor to three points. Amelia Shiner and Iselin Vestnes each
netted twice along with Josie Shand, Shani Minors and Sarah Whale. Claire Ford (2), Katie Pollitt and
Leyla Yahioglu accounted for the goals as Enfield Town 3rds defeated Larkspur Rovers 4-2.
Monique Mitchell (2) and Dawn Clark gave Edgware Town a 3-1 victory in their second meeting of
a double header with Tower Hamlets, after the first had finished 2-2.
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
While the main league season was curtailed due to covid-19, the recent easing of lockdown restrictions
has allowed games to be resumed with teams having the chance to win silverware via the Cup and Plate
competitions. Instead of the usual straight knock out format, teams have been drawn into mini groups
of four, playing each other once to determine which teams progress to the Cup and which to the Plate.
