Beech’s Bench Talk

Good afternoon and
welcome to the Lancer
Scott stadium.

We go into today’s
game on the back of
two very disappointing
results and will be
looking for a massive
response from the boys.
We went into the
Wellington game on the
back of 3 very good
victories (Brislington,
Bridport and Taunton)
but unfortunately we
really didn’t come out of
the blocks and were
punished from our own
mistakes.

Myself, Jim and Ryan went into last week’s game very positive
hoping it was just an off day at Wellington as we wanted to take
the game to Street and was rewarded early on from fine finish from
Brad Skidmore but with half time approaching we conceded a
sloppy equaliser. The second half was a very frustrating one with
some decisions not going our way and yet again we conceded
against the run of play with a few calling for offside! Another game
slipped away from us. We have to learn quickly to manage games
and see them out starting today!
