Safety netting and edge protection
It’s a safe system of works too keep people safe when working at heights.
The Safety netting is used in new industrial builds or farm sheds with old fragile
roofs, it’s installed under the new or old roof to catch people in case they fall when
putting new roofs on or repairing fragile roofs.
Safety nets are used to save lives and reduce injuries on site by absorbing energy
from a falling body. Rigged to the underside of the structure, they are normally
used as the primary means of protection due to their close proximity to the working
level.
And scaffold edge protection stops people from walking off the edge of the building
being worked on.
