Bristol City have opened up a three point lead at the top of the table after their
3-1 victory away to Sheffield Utd. Shania Hayles netted a brace either side of
half time and Abi Harrison added the third shortly afterwards, before Mia
Enderby scored an injury time consolation for the Blades.
London City Lionesses move up into second place as they scored five
times without reply away to Coventry Utd. Sarah Ewens is
proving to be a fine signing for the Lionesses and she hit a first half
hat-trick, with Atlanta Primus also getting on the scoresheet.
Grace Neville rounded off the scoring with the fifth goal during the
       second half.

below the Lionesses on goal difference after they shared a 2-2
draw with Blackburn Rovers. Millie Chandarana and Saffron
Jordan both scored as Blackburn raced into a two-goal lead inside
the opening half hour but after the break, a penalty from captain
Emily Simpkins brought the Addicks back into the game and they
salvaged a point with an equaliser from Melissa Johnson.
Crystal Palace suffered a setback as they were beaten 2-0
by Sunderland, who notched up their first victory of the season.
After a goalless first half, Emily Scarr opened the scoring for the
Wearsiders eleven minutes after the restart and Katy Watson Bristol City striker Shania Hayles and
wrapped up the win late on with the second. Alethea Paul of Sheffield Utd
