KEYNSHAM TOWN LADIES 4
Secretary’s Notes
Another home game, another programme! This afternoon we welcome
Portishead Town Ladies to The AJN for what could be an important local
derby game.
On Thursday evening we have another game - this time the Somerset
FA Women’s Senior Cup Final to be held at Street FC against Bridgwater
United Women. Kick off is 7-45pm so if you are able please come and
support us for what promises to be an entertaining game.
For once, (I can’t remember if it’s happened before) we are the home
side so get the home dressing room and don’t have to change our kit in
the event of any colour clashes. It also happens to be your club
Secretary’s birthday so a win would be a very nice present, especially if
I have to spend it standing in the cold! Good news we don’t have to write
the programme!
There will, however, be another programme to write for next Sunday
when we are once again at home, this time to St. Austell Ladies.
I was a bit surprised when a FAWNL Reserve team thought it didn’t have
to supply after match refreshments even though it is a 2 hour journey. I
checked with the Chairman and Reserve teams are not exempt from the
rule. I would have thought it was common courtesy anyway. No food will
mean a £50 fine so it would be cheaper to nip out and buy something.
Happy Mothering Sunday to all mums, especially those who have missed
out on lunch today so their daughters could play.
