Grade 6
1- Students can identify and define keyboarding terms (Keyboard, keys, spacebar, re- turn, enter, backspace, arrows, delete, numbers, letters, shift and tab).
2- Students know the body posture (Eyes, body with the letter B, hands and wrists).
3- Students are using both hands on keyboard at all times.
4- Students know the Home Row and can place fingers on it.
5- Students have memorized the Keyboard Keys.
6- Students know the fingers to use for the space bar, return, escape and shift keys.
7- Students know the fingers to use for alphabet and punctuation keys (French ac- cents).
8- Students know the fingers to use for numeric and commonly used symbols.
9- Students are expected to produce texts.
10- Student can key by touch 20 wpm and more.
