The next morning I figure out why I was so cold all night – the

window is open. These Irish people are fresh air worshipers.

We eat French toast again with juice and pay our bill. Ann was

so mixed up from the time we got there that we have a little

problem with the bill. She had told the guy who called her

from the hotel that she had one room with two beds and a bath

for two nights and when we got there she put is in two rooms

for the same price. Well when we stayed the second night and
she moved me, she figured that was a new deal even though we

had originally told her two nights. She wanted paid more for
the second night. We discuss it for quite a while and finally

compromise at a slightly higher rate for the second night.

               This is our
               earliest

               start (9:45

               a.m.) and

               we head

               toward

               Lewisburg.

               We drive

               through the

               barren

               country

               which is

               very

beautiful even with the overcast sky. We stop at an

information center and ask about a castle we’d seen from the

road. They tell us how to drive down there. It is private

property but they say it will be OK. We park and walk the last
