We stopped
only once
when we
pass a scene
I’d seen on a
postcard
(one we’d
purchased in
Galway). It
is a lake with
an island
and trees
with reeds in
the
foreground.
Telephone
wires run
right thru
the trees but
my polarizer
seems to
make them
disappear.
Unfortunately the wind is fierce and the trees and reeds are
moving all around but the sky is fantastic.
Our B & B is nice but the advertised panoramic view with a
castle is highly over rated. The castle which looks like part of
one tower is mostly obscured by trees and the panorama is
mainly of garages and clothes lines. Well, you can’t have a
great view every time we tell ourselves.
