Unlike many Food Banks in other areas, Swanage Food Bank has
been blessed with generous cash donations that were received
over the Christmas period, enabling us to purchase groceries and
fresh fruit and vegetables to top up the store. The donation bins,
often overflowing, which Robin empties each week, have been
invaluable in keeping the shelves well stocked.
Due to high demand since the start of the year, our shortages at
the moment are:
Tins of cold meat, and meals to heat,
soups, savoury biscuits, small bags of sugar,
jars and small cartons of sauce for pasta,
marmalade, peanut butter, small jars of coffee,
toilet rolls, shampoo

FIRE SAFETY
It is important that we make every effort to ensure that our
premises are protected at all times against fire hazards.
1. Please close all internal doors when locking up. It will
slow down the spread of fire.
2. The Fire Bell is located on the window-cill in the hall, and
should be left in that position.
3. Soon we will have a fire drill to check our
evacuation procedure.
4. Our Assembly Point is the Day Centre Car Park.
