SOCIAL EVENTS TEAM
We thank Davina and Paul for our most interesting tour of the
Orkney Isles.
As Christmas approaches we look forward to our Quiz night on
TH
FRIDAY 28 NOVEMBER Please note the change of date as
Saturday 29th clashes with several other town events.
Our Quiz Master, Martin has chosen ‘Christmas’ as his theme. His
Quizzes are always a lot of fun and someone has to come last!
Richard has been volunteered to produce a supper of jacket
potatoes + dessert and all for just £8.

Our CANDLE-LIT evening in the Worship Area will, this year, be

for ONE NIGHT ONLY on Wednesday 17 December.
Mount Scar Primary School Choir will be with us to sing at 5 pm,
followed at 6 pm by the young Woodwind Group who meet on our
premises. The Handbell team will ring at 6:30 pm with Carols for
all at 7 pm.
There will be refreshments throughout the evening and stalls
selling cakes and Christmas gifts, and a tombola. Any items will, of
course, be welcome.
For anyone interested in hearing how the young musicians who
meet on our premises are getting on Jay is holding an informal

Concert for parents and friends on Tuesday 25 November from 5
pm. You can drop in at any time between then and 7:30 pm.

PRIZES
Once again we turn to you as we prepare to organise a Bottle/
Prize Stall which we will be holding at the Church Candlelight
Evening. These will be presented in the Vestibule and we will be
extremely grateful to receive any donations of prizes towards our
effort. The support we are always given is much appreciated and
