Alliances are dangerous things. I would not advise alliances
with any nation, but would cultivate friendship with all
nations.

The Quiet Reflection - which wasn't!
Our 'Season' resumed on Thursday September 4th at 2 30p.m. There
were just two of us, one who lives on their own and has a lot of quiet
anyway! We met a little before 'time' and chatted awaiting others to
come and join us. We knew of 2 Friends who had told us they were not
going to be available.
The topic was 'Plant Leaves' and I had several to show via the video.
We observed the similar basic structure, though different size. Also we
thought about how essential they are to our life on earth, the wonder
of photosynthesis; the production of oxygen essential for our life. Also
that shortly many leaves will fall to earth and recycle themselves in a
composting process to feed the roots for next season and new shoots
emerging in the spring.
Our reflection was more
conversational this time
rather than strictly
quiet. But the normal
pattern does conclude with
a wisdom sharing
conversation. YOU are
welcome to join us on zoom
1st Thursday of the month
at 2 30p.m. I cannot predict
what will be the theme awaiting you on the next 1st Thursday after you
read this! But be assured YOU will be most welcome to come and
enrich us all.
