Since you are my rock and my fortress, for
the sake of your name lead and guide me.

Psalm 31:3

Psalm 31:3 is a simple but powerful call to trust in the Lord. We are
reminded that He is our strength and defender. When the future seems
unclear, it is God’s wisdom we should lean on, so we don’t stray from His
path.

This month, please join us to pray for Nepal. Together our prayer is for
strength for the team at Anandaban Hospital, and wisdom for the
centre’s future.

You might remember that Anandaban was hit by devastating landslides in
September. The disaster left buildings damaged, vital supplies cut off,
and staff and patients traumatised. The team shared that the impact was
worse than the 2015 earthquake.
But Jesus was there in the midst of the crisis. Thankfully despite the
uncertainty, patient care continues and Anandaban still shines as a
beacon of hope.

Please pray for this incredible place of healing and love:
• For continued protection over Anandaban. The rainy season has
started, and the site is at risk of further landslides. Pray the Lord
will keep staff and patients safe and ease their fears.
• For each patient at the hospital, that they will know the Lord’s
healing and peace. Ask that He will give medics the words to
comfort the broken hearted and inspire hope.
• For all the medics and support staff at Anandaban. Pray that God
will strengthen them as they serve people affected by leprosy.
Pray too that they will find time to rest and draw close to Him amid
the busyness.
· For wisdom as the team look to the long-term future of the
hospital. Ask that Jesus will be at the heart of every meeting and
decision. May they put their trust in Him as they shine out His love
across Nepal.
Your prayers are an incredible encouragement, as together you fulfil
Jesus’ mission of healing and hope.
