We have been successful with our bid to Awards for All.

We have been awarded £9,529. This money is to support our
project ‘Food, fellowship and fun in the community’. The money will
be used for new kitchen equipment and towards Lex’s work in
particular with coffee@112, CUChooseday and Soup & Cinema.
There are other Trusts and Foundations that we can apply to for
this project, or other projects, as identified in our church business
plan.

One of the conditions of this award is that there should be no
religious content / proselytizing as part of any of these
activities, they are our outreach into the community, supporting
older people.

Christmas Shoe Boxes

With considerable help from
friends from Emmanuel Baptist
Church we were able to pack
188 shoe boxes plus a quantity
of boxes and sacks of knitted
goods.
