Quiet Reflections by Zoom Len Wigg

Since the start of this year a group of us have been meeting for this. We gather on the 1st Thursday and
3rd Tuesday of each month at 2 30 p.m. for about 45 minutes - though sometimes it is longer!
The starting points have been very diverse from:
Advices and Queries 29 "What does living adventurously mean for you?";
Quaker Faith and Practice 23.34 about assumptions and prejudices;
Philippians 4:8 "Whatever is true, noble, right, pure......think about these things";

How have we been creative or used lateral thinking in the past? This was illustrated by a picture from
India in mid 1960's - 'How do you carry an injured patient from a remote jungle village to hospital? You
turn a bed upside down into a stretcher supported by a strong bamboo pole - and some strong
neighbours!
