Blythswood Shoeboxes

       Please continue to donate brushes
and combs, and pants and socks for
       all ages.

Non-prescription glasses and magnifying glasses are always
       appreciated too.

Small scissors, sewing threads and needles are also needed.
Any suitable items are always very welcome.

       Thank you. Ann Farrer

Please see the letter of appreciation from Blythswood on
       previous page.

The new Osborne Road Home Group met on
Wednesday 11th February. Eight of us enjoyed a
lively discussion about the format and content for
the next six meetings. We also played a game,
provided by Emily, which was both amusing and
       revealing!

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 18th March. All are
welcome. Please RSVP if you would like to join us, as it helps us
ensure there are enough cakes and biscuits. Richard

       URC Ukes
We are at present, a mixed group of 14 players and are back in
action after a rather long, enforced break.
In February we entertained at the Rotary annual ‘Silver Saturday’
event with a varied programme of familiar songs, and this month
will be visiting Clifftop Residential Home.
We would welcome new players to swell our ranks, especially men
to keep Eddie, our bass player, company! You don’t need any
previous knowledge or musical know-how, just a love of singing,
       and willingness to learn.
Come along on a Saturday morning for 9.30 and get strumming!
(There is a spare ukulele in the cupboard!) Elizabeth
