Fundraising . . , Beetles & Bingo

We enjoyed our usual hilarious evening playing Beetle on
14th Septemberand a rather more subdued Bingo session, which
requires much concentration! Together with the Raffle, (£75)
which Ruth and Marion organised and Rosemary helped run, we
raised £257.

Martin has prepared an interesting Quiz entitled “The UK”

for Saturday 2 November so we should all be capable
of answering those!

As we are close to Bonfire Night he has suggested having
a Bangers and Mash Supper and Catherine Wheel
dessert! The cost of the evening is £8 and tickets are available
from Ruth or via any Team member.

We are looking forward to a ‘Full House’ so hope you can come!

Our guest on Tuesday 8 October is Judy Forgan
who is coming to tell to us about Tools with a
Mission (TWAM). They are a Christian Charity that
collects donated usable tools, refurbishing them, sorts
them into trade kits and sends them to the developing
world for livelihood creation.

In November we learn about the work of local
‘Linking Lives’ and its contribution to our community.

Each meeting begins at 2 pm and includes Tea and Cake!
We ask for a Donation of £1.
