                      Away Day ~ 5th October
                        Worth Matravers Village Hall
                                10.00 am – 4’sh

Our Away Day is nearly upon us and we look forward to a time of
fellowship and sharing together. Worth Matravers Village Hall has
been booked and lifts are available. Refreshments including lunch
       will be provided.

All we need now is your commitment to come… and we are hoping
that as many people as possible from our church family will be able
to gather to enjoy some time out and seek God’s guidance for our
future journey together. Please do join us and make this a positive
       time!

We often refer to our spiritual journey as our ‘walk with God’ for
good reason. St Paul described his journey of faith as a race – not
against others like at the Olympics, but as a way of expressing his
continuing commitment to dig deeper into how he could be more
       like Jesus (Philippians 3:12-16).

At our away day, it would be good to know if there are any ways in
which you feel this church community could help you grow deeper
in your walk with Jesus. Please do not feel under pressure to talk
about this on the day – unless you wish to, but maybe you could
think about this and pray about it in preparation for our time
       together.

We have planned an enjoyable day to encourage conversations
about our hopes and ideas for our Church’s future.

Please do join us! The Elders

       And from Anne & John Squires . . .
In preparation for the Church Away Day this month, we have put
up some posters about different meanings of church. If you have
not done so, please take a few moments to look at them and pray
about the importance of our church to you.
