During the later Swanage Food Bank

summer months,
there seemed to be a
steady number of
requests from single
people and couples,
those working are October update
struggling to manage
until the end of the
month.

The schools have returned after the summer holidays,
school uniforms and kits to be paid for, food prices
regularly rising too, it’s a worrying time for families

Shortages:
Savoury biscuits and snacks
Small jars of coffee
Tins of fruit - Packs of noodles, Pot noodles,
mug shots and dried pasta snacks – all suitable for those
with limited cooking facilities

Don’t forget the Food Bank now operates
from our Church premises.
There is a food collection bin in the vestibule,
at most Churches as well as local
supermarkets.
