Would you like to participate in this year’s Purbeck Christmas Tree
Festival? It is being held at Emmanuel Baptist Church Swanage

for three days from Thursday 11 December to Saturday
th

13 December between 10 am and 6 pm. On Sunday 14 there is
a special remembrance service at 4 pm called ‘Lights of Love’.

How to sponsor a tree?

We invite you to sponsor a tree and decorate it to highlight your
church group or business/charity in the local area. We source the
trees locally for you to sponsor at £24 for a 4'6" or £28 for a
6' Norway Spruce. We ask you to come and set up your tree

between 9 am and 4 pm on Wednesday 10 December when you
will need to bring with you a stand to put your tree in, decorations
on the theme and a sign or emblem to advertise your sponsorship.
LED lights will be provided so please do not bring your own. This
year’s theme is Christmas Around the World. After the festival

the tree is yours to take away either after 6 pm on Saturday 13 or
Monday 15th between 9 am and 12 noon. This is a non-profit
making event, and any donations received will go to two
nominated charities which this year are Julia’s House and towards
funding a new Air Ambulance.

The St Aldhelm Christmas Tree Festival
will once again be held at St George’s
Church, Langton Matravers from
6 – 8 December, and will be supporting
RNLI (Swanage) and Purbeck Youth Music.
