character in then carrying on with her life as normally as
possible. She lived semi-independently in Mowlem Court until her
lack of mobility led to her staying in hospital and then a care home for
the last few months of her life.
Jean's family was her life and she lived for her seven grandchildren
- Tim, Sarah, Mandy, Michael, Christopher, Andrew and Emily -
and her eight great grandchildren - Rupert, William, Alicia, Adam,
Chloe, Oliver, Zachary and Felicity - all of whom could do no
wrong.
She was an avid collector of jewellery,
antiques and especially pictures; so
much so that when there was no more
wall space the pictures were just
stacked up on the floor.
Jean was a forthright Swanage lady.
She loved her family and will be missed
by them all.
