Brunch With Braman:
Priority One Canine
DAWN under 75 degrees will break up the warm, humid South Florida winter.
ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR, a mild morning with temperatures dipping
When these rare days come about, there’s perhaps no better way to enjoy
them than with a spectacular brunch spread and in the presence of some
of the finest automobiles in the world.
AWAKEN YOUR SENSES It was on one such day this past January that around 100 Club Braman
members and their guests were invited to the first Braman Bentley Palm
Beach and Braman Rolls-Royce Palm Beach owners brunch.
Now available at Valets and one of Club Braman’s lovely hostesses greeted members and
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Palm Beach showed them to the brunch buffet, which included a grand assortment
of cheeses, fresh shrimp and crab claws, and a full coffee bar. The bright

white, garnet, rose gold, and robin’s egg blue hues of the luxurious
models within.
Of course, as a Club Braman event, there was extra value and
entertainment guaranteed—provided in this case by Wade Monroe, a
former soldier and current active peace officer, along with his company
Priority One Canine.
Over the past 20 years, Wade’s professionally-trained guard dogs have
served clients from across the world—each one customized to their
new owner’s family and situation. Starting with 6-week old puppies,
the immersive training program undergone by each dog lasts for
approximately two years, as well as an additional 3-4 day in-home
training that is included with every delivery.
Wade provided a 30-minute presentation, during which he gamely
fielded any and all questions from the enraptured Club Braman
audience. With assistance from his wife and another staff member, a live
demonstration was conducted showing how one of his expertly-trained
dogs could transform from a gorgeous and happy fluff ball to a fierce
protector during a staged assault.
Wade stressed that his were not attack dogs but personal protection
companions, and could and should be treated as normal pets. He
encourages his clients to take their dogs to the park to run and play,
as well as expressing no reservations regarding their being around
children, other animals, and family and friends.
It all added up to a particularly comfortable, delicious, educational,
and exciting South Florida morning.
This was the first in a series of planned brunches for Club Braman
