GOING, GOING...
Stunning images capture the last
standing sections of Tennyson House
- the second to last Grimsby high-rise
tower to be demolished.
The images were taken from the one remaining
block - Albion House - as it was dismantled from top
to bottom.
The last block should - as this magazine hits your
doorstep - have also been knocked down, leaving
the central Grimsby site clear.
Marking the start of a new era for the East Marsh,
it is anticipated that work will be completed in
November 2018.
We’re working with local agencies including North
East Lincolnshire Council to seek views on what
future use the cleared site should be used for. At
this stage there is no firm decision on what that
may be but demolition and a cleared site presents
a genuine opportunity for potential development
which could revitalise and significantly change this
