piece horn section, and I would play along to that as well because I've been the guy

    writing the riffs.

BiTS: You need to put some of that stuff down on a record. I don't know whether
you know it, but Robin Bibi has just done an album with horns and it's absolutely

    fabulous.

PF: Oh, I'd love to, you know, but I mean, again, it's like in the end, the thing that
ground Kava Kava to a halt was the size of the band.

    BiTS: Yeah, that's true.

PF: Once you've got a horn section, you want it all the time, and seven or eight air
tickets is just a non-starter. And you know, that said, we did play some amazing places,

including China and America, but I just don't see how with the problems that bands
have touring, we'd actually achieve that at this time. But yeah, I'd love to record with
a horn section. I'll have to make that happen somehow.

BiTS: That sounds like a project for the future.

PF: Oh yeah, and an orchestra [laughs].

BiTS: Pat, I don't want to take too much of your time any longer because you've got

a rehearsal to get back to, but tell me for a minute, please, where do you want to be
    say, in five years’ time?

PF: Oh, I'd love to be doing some more blues gigs. I'd like to do some more blues gigs

abroad, really. That would be the dream if we could somehow get some dates abroad.
Obviously, we've done the Czech Republic now. We want to go back there. I guess the
dream would be to play places like Holland and America, but you know, I guess all

the bands would say that. I'd like to do another album, as you say, with a horn section
and maybe with a budget [laughs].

    BiTS: Yes.

PF: And yeah, I want to stay healthy. I want to do more gigs. We've had some great
gigs this year. We did Buxton Blues. That was fantastic, as was Colne Blues. So
    hopefully more of that.

BiTS: That's good. Absolutely terrific. Now, good luck with the gigs selling the album
off, and I'll be in touch with you sometime in the not-too-distant future.

PF: Wonderful. Well, thanks so much for the interview and let me know when it’s

    up.

BiTS: I certainly will. Thanks for talking to me, Pat.

PF: All the best, take care of yourself.

    BiTS: Bye-bye then. Bye.
