‘High Price To Pay’ and ‘If You Still Love Me’ were from my old bandmate Paul Warren (Richard
Marx, Tina Turner & Rod Stewart).

Two, ‘I’m Not Made That Way’ and ‘When Is This Rain Gonna End’ were from another old
bandmate, Kenny Greenberg (Many artists and studio work) who played guitar for us with Bob
Seger.

The final ‘double shot’ writer Jeff Paris wrote ‘One More Last Time’ and ‘If I Knew Then’”, with
Tommy Castro.

These are such great writers, that it was hard to narrow it down to just two a-piece. Love them
all, suffice it to say, all these songs are ‘my babies’.

LL: How did you make it through the pandemic?

SM: My manager and I took full advantage of the space in and around the national parks. Although
some were not open, we took it upon ourselves to see the wide-open spaces, (from inside our
vehicle mostly) and see the beauty this country has to offer, although we had a few ‘Rod Sterling’
moments, driving through some of the smaller towns, and literally saw NO ONE! Other than that,
I tried my hardest to keep positive. I pretty much stayed away from crowds, restaurants, stores,
only shopping at the crack of dawn, when there usually weren’t too many people, I was finding
‘nesting’ preferable. Frankly, that was such an awful time for the planet. My manager and I both
had Covid 3 times at the beginning of the pandemic. I lost my Dad to it, and more friends than I
