I'm still not 100% sure what it means myself even though I wrote it, but I like to leave it that
     way.

BiTS: I'm delighted to hear that you're a Miles Davis fan because I am too. What a great artist
     he was.

GW: Yes, it's just that sound and from that, that branches you off into Blue Note, so you’ve got
Blue Note records and it's such a cool vibe about all that stuff. Another of my favourite jazz artists

is Cassandra Wilson, and she's done stuff on the Blue Note label. Unfortunately, she is no relation,
although she's a Wilson, but yes, great. Another great singer.

BiTS: Tell me something about the plans for the album. When is it likely to be released?

GW: Right. Yes, well, we know for definite, we've set the target to have it available on CD only,
i.e., no digital stuff, to release when I do the Upton Blues Festival. So the Upton Blues Festival,
I'll be playing on Friday the 21st of July on the acoustic stage and the idea is to have the merch
table stacked with the CDs available for sale.

     BiTS: That sounds rather exciting.

GW: And then after that, it will be released probably the August, but certainly not before, because
it's very difficult these days to gauge what people want. You know, there's not many people have
CD players anymore. We're quite lucky that the older generation, tend to value the actual CDs

and vinyl, something tactile, you can get hold of. So there still is a bit of a market there, but it's
amazing how many young people don't have CD players or anything now so, you’ve got to gauge
     what the market requires.

BiTS: You must be, like I say, pretty excited about what’s coming up. What else is it that you
anticipate with some relish, I guess is this an appropriate phrase, about all this? What are you
looking forward to in the future beyond the revealing of this at Upton?

GW: Yes, well, the plan is for obviously to get this album out, so this will take us into late summer.
I've already started looking at writing songs for an album, a brand new album of totally brand
