BiTS: That's very strange because that's my favourite too [laughs].
SS: Great, great, great [laughing]. But I will tell you that right behind that one is ‘Joyful
Sky’. It’s just something that I get chills every time I listen to that song. I just think
it's a songwriting masterpiece.
BiTS: Tell me something about actually working with Robin. Did you find him to be
very supportive?
SS: He was incredibly supportive,

much more so than I expected,
because you don't get to his level of
success without being single-
minded, without knowing exactly
what you want, and that also comes,
potentially, along with a very
demanding approach, but Robin was
not like that at all. He was very
generous and open to ideas and
really allowed me to work at my best
because I felt empowered by him. I
really felt that my opinions, my ideas,
really mattered and allowing me to
express myself more freely, allowed
me to really work at the highest level
that I could. The thing that was most
surprising to me about working with
Robin was his ability to focus. He is
tireless in the studio, and he wins the
Robin Trower prize. He can focus longer than
anybody else and some of the people
in the studio are quite a bit younger
than Robin, but they do not have his stamina. I have never seen anybody with the
ability to concentrate, and I've been reading a lot about it. Robin has inspired me to
learn more about how to achieve deep work. How to focus so precisely on something
that you're not distracted by things around you, and that is so important for all of us
to achieve the greatest work that we can. And so I'm learning more about that.
BiTS: Sari, are you going to be able to tour with Robin to promote the album or is
that not going to happen?
SS: Well, we would love to. So, it's not a question of desire. It's more of a question of
how our schedules are able to coordinate. If it were to come to pass, I would do
everything in my power to make it happen, yeah. And I know Robin would love to
get back out there. It's been, I think, four years or five years since he's been in front
