Additionally, the band functioned as the house band for the “Main Event,”
demonstrating that their collaboration extends beyond The McNaMarr Project.

Jimi Hocking and Geoff Achison – Two long standing blues guitarists, both with
stellar careers in Australia as well as the UK and USA, teamed up for a set of originals
before raising the energy level with a cover of Deep Purple’s ‘Highway Star’ and

(Easy Beats lead singer) Stevie Wright’s classic ‘Evie’.

Joining their set was Melbourne based guitarist Nat Allison showing why she is a
rising star on the blues scene in Victoria plus the guitarist of choice for Suzi Quatro’s

band in Quatro’s upcoming October Australian tour.

An all in jam proved a worthy finish to over three and a half hours of Blues, leaving
the capacity crowd well satisfied at the 2025 “Main Event”.
